Simulated Node Plattform
To use Flow as a development environment you need some wireless sensor nodes of a supported platform. To evaluate Flow without concrete hardware sensor nodes you can use the sensor node simulator. The simulator displays a sensor node with input and output ports and is programmed using C# code. This simulated sensor node can response to events and provides similar components as the MSB-430H. Two or more simulated sensor nodes can communicate via the simulated wireless network.
When you install the platform you can model applications for the simulated sensor nodes. These applications can be tested on a PC without the need of using concrete hardware sensor nodes. With only a little manual work the application can be deployed on real MSB-430H sensor nodes, too.
